Has your cast iron hotplate or grill developed surface rust? Here’s a simple fix. Heat your plate or grill for about 10 minutes, until very hot, then coat with cooking oil and sprinkle liberally with salt. Scrub with a wire brush or BBQ tool (spatula) this will remove the rust. Wipe clean with paper towels and your ready to go.
